The Manfrotto MK290LTA3-3WUS 290 Light Aluminum Tripod with 3-Way Pan/Tilt Head can hold up to 8.8 lb and extends from 16.3" to 56.7" high. It weighs 4.1 lb and folds down to 21.9" for travel. The 3-section legs have two angle positions, and they employ tension-adjustable leg locks to adjust the tripod's height. A rubber grip on one of the legs adds comfort when carrying the tripod.

The included MH293D3-Q2 3-way head is fabricated from a lightweight polymer called Adapto that offers strength and functionality without the weight of metal.
